Shawn Viars

Owner/Director/Lead Trainer - Safety Harbor

Hi, I’m Shawn Viars and I'm the Owner/Director of Integrity Health and Fitness, and the Integrity Bootcamp program. My love for fitness began when I was in elementary school. All throughout my life I have played for many different athletic teams. This includes playing sports as a student and playing/coaching sports as an adult. I enjoyed the competitive atmosphere as well as the team component. I thrive on being my best and making others around me better. I enjoy setting goals and working to meet and exceed them. I know that a team is better together and I have practiced this not only on the court/field, but in life as well. I have learned the benefits of staying in top sports condition all of my life.

Since moving to Oldsmar from Cincinnati, OH. in 1999, I have been involved in our community coaching competitive softball and playing competitive softball as well. Most recently I coached girls’ flag football at Eastlake High School for 8 years, the last 5 of them as the varsity coach. My conditioning program is proven to give athletes the skills to be competitive and stay in top performing condition.

For 25 years I was involved in full time ministry in the area of music. That experience taught me the value of investing in people and helping people in their personal and spiritual lives. I have used my experience in both fields to create a unique outreach ministry. I understand the value of not only being physically fit but spiritually fit as well.

Back in 2010 my wife went to a bootcamp using a Groupon and after completing the four week session told me that because of my conditioning program at the high school that I should start my own bootcamp conditioning program. Because of my extensive training in sports as an athlete and coach I decided to give it a try. What began as a fun bootcamp for our local church community quickly turned into a full blown outreach to the outside community that has reached well over 350 people over the last 11 years. I never dreamed the program would last this long. It became evident that there was a need for an affordable fitness program that not only taught people to be physically fit, but emotionally and spiritually fit as well. My training as a staff pastor has given me the relational skills to make it a priority to help people as a fitness coach and a life coach. I’m using my skills of pastoral leadership with my training as a fitness coach to expand to the Tampa Bay area to help people become everything they were meant to be in Christ in their spiritual AND physical bodies.

I’m bringing my experiences as a lifelong athlete, certified coach in the Pinellas County Schools, and life coaching skills to partner with the local church to provide a wholesome and faith based health and fitness program. The difference about my bootcamp is that our teammates get personal attention and I don’t leave anyone behind. I excel at motivating and encouraging people to be their absolute best. If you are interested in joining a fitness family then you have come to the right place. I look forward to helping you attain your fitness goals and becoming spiritually fit as well.

Jeff Viars

Trainer - Safety Harbor

My name is Jeff Viars and I'm a fitness instructor/coach for Integrity Bootcamp. I received my Bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a minor in Exercise Science from Warner University. My degree included courses ranging from event management and sports psychology, to teaching personal fitness and coaching sports. While attending Warner, I was fortunate enough to be a member of the Warner University Baseball team. As a collegiate athlete, I gained valuable experiences in strength and conditioning, teamwork and leadership roles both on and off the field. I was also active within the community by participating in many volunteer activities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, coaching YMCA youth sports, and assisting special needs children live out their dreams playing little league baseball. I draw from all of these experiences to mirror the philosophy of Integrity Health and Fitness.

After utilizing my degree for over 5 years which included employment with the Tampa Bay Lightning, I have decided to pursue a graduate degree in the medical field including health and fitness studies. I will be attending Nova Southeastern University in the Summer of 2016 to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. I've always had an interest in the science of how the body moves/operates relating back to courses taken in Biomechanics and Kinesiology at Warner. I feel this will allow me to continue to learn and gain knowledge in a field that is rapidly growing, along with helping others achieve goals and becoming more educated to live a healthier life.

My wife Shaela and I are enjoying being parents to our first child Brycen, born in April 2014. We are both from Cincinnati, Ohio (huge Reds fans) and currently reside in the Oldsmar area. I enjoy playing softball, basketball and golf. I like staying active through many other outdoor activities and taking advantage of the warm Florida weather!

Joni Wallace

Lead Trainer - Winter Haven

Hi! I’m Joni Wallace and I am the trainer/coach at the Integrity Bootcamp Winter Haven location. I grew up as a missionary kid in N.S.W., Australia. I did not have too many opportunities to get involved in sports during those years. Later in life after having my second child, my sister introduced me to the world of exercising and I absolutely fell in love with it. I lost 50 lbs. through pure self motivation, by doing at-home exercising videos, running, and using my home elliptical. Upon accomplishing that weight loss goal I felt so much stronger and better about myself. When I get the chance, my favorite things to do are obstacle course races, such as the Savage Race and the Terrain Race. I love getting others motivated about being fit. Thanks to Shawn and Kelly Gienott (our former instructor), with their excellent training and motivation, I have the amazing opportunity to be a motivator and instructor for our Winter Haven Bootcamp family. Exercising with an awesome group of people is so rewarding and you really develop a whole other family and friends. We have all different levels of fitness in our bootcamp family, which encourages us to work to the best of our ability. 5:15am is  such an early start, but when you walk out of our gym you feel accomplished, encouraged, and motivated, ready to conquer your day. If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you!
